Meet Chris Bolton, a Bulldogs diehard and meat industry veteran.

We all know Chris Bolton is a lifelong Bulldogs fan, but did you know he’s got an interesting collection that includes Masters of the Universe action figures, Ninja Turtles, and war memorial memorabilia. However, his most cherished items are his crockery frogs! This tradition began with his grandfather, who gifted Chris his first crockery frog after noticing his childhood fascination with catching frogs. What started as a simple interest has evolved into a lifelong passion—Chris can recall exactly who gifted him every frog! He even raised 24 green tree frog tadpoles with his kids, proving that his froggy obsession is much more than just a hobby.

Chris’s meat industry journey began at 15, and after stints at Woolworths and various butchery shops, he eventually found his way to Meyer Food Co. as National Sales Manager. Here, he juggles key accounts and collaborates on new sous vide products.

Above meat, footy, and frogs, Chris is a family man. Happily married for 14 years and a proud dad of three. He’s currently upgrading to a bigger home on the coast, to fit his growing tribe, where he loves spending time outdoors. With dreams of exploring Europe’s ancient castles, Chris is content for now, balancing his love for meat, cheering on the Bulldogs, and adding to his froggy collection while watching his kids grow up.
